5 speed swap

I do know that there is a write up on it but what i wanted to know is if i use a 5 speed trans and engine harness then do i need to run any wires? I have a 1996 240sx Thanks

In theory no. You need to make sure you are using a harness from the right car though or you may have problems. ie obdI 95 harness probably won't work right (cel's) in an obdII car 96-98. All s13's with the exception of the sohc (not sure) should be the same harness or pretty damn close.

its recomended that you use the mt ecu, but i ran the at ecu in my 92 s13 for a while after i did the 5 speed swap and didnt have any problems, but im not sure whats different about the ecu's, you may want to ask someone who knows about ecu's about that
