5 speed swap ?

anyone here from cali ? well im plannin on doin the 5 speed swap and was wondering once its been done will it pass smog? cus im hearing that da auto ecu will throw codes.....i have all my parts but no crossmember , clutch and brake pedal assembly.... oh and dude what bolt sizes do i use for the transmission to engine cant i jus use the ones on the auto ?

your ecu will not throw a code that is only on s14's. you shouldn't have a problem with the smog your just changing the transmission.

No, you can't use the old bolts.

If I remeber correclty i think only 2 of them have to be longer, and i think its the starter side. I bought my bolts from autozone for like 2 dollars.Just when ever you are doing the swap compare the auto transmission to the 5sp transmission, and you should pretty much be able to tell wich bolts you will need longer.
