Got the interior all back together and had it out for a test drive. Everything works as it should. Shifts smooth, no chatter, I could not be happier!!!!

Thanks to all that offered their help and advice, I could not have done this without you!

It really is, though I am still getting used to it! It really makes it much more of a sports car feel, I like it!

So what's next... Coilover suspension or a turbo kit?

actually I am going to do new struts, but not coilovers. I like the stance and look of the car and do not want to lower it any, not to mention spend that kind of money. Turbo kit........I don't think so, my need to go fast days are WAY behind me!

A B&M short throw shifter. If you think it feels sporty now...wait until you switch out the old sloppy stock shifter for one of these. Perhaps one of the best mods I've done to date.
whats the cost of that?

f*** yes. I got one from Atlanticspeed.com for about 170-180. WELL WORTH IT! Believe me. It's great.

Or if you'd rather, come to Carlisle and drive someone's 240 with a B&M, that will convince you! Speaking of which, are you coming to Carlisle? It's not too far from you.

I split out the thread so that the short shifter conversation can be by itself.

Here's the new thread... zerothread/417959

Unfortunately, not all the posts I designated to split went where they were supposed to do.. Sorry about that guys!
