that noise could be a bad TO bearing.

I am curious. How much did you spend to do this?

i got lucky and found a complete parts car for $300 bucks and used everything from that. i dont know what that noise is but it sounds the same as grinding breaks. i put a new throw out bearing assembly on there so i didnt haveto press anything on. im hoping its something simple like that and not transmission related. o and the pilot bushing was actually easy took all of twenty seconds to remove it with the remover tool and slide hammer i rented form auto zone for $20 bucks. the only wierd thing is the new bushing was the same size as the automatic bushing, and i thought it was supposed to be smaller. but i bolted it up anyway and it semmed to work out i dont think thats the noise i hear.
