5-speed swap done, now 3k rev issue? not maf

Weird.... the car is running great before and after the 5speed swap, but now from time to time he starts rev limiting at 3k, i thought it was the MAF, but its ok!, when im driving PUFF 3k limit, i shutdown when running and turn on again and its back to normal.... but after like 20 mins again PUFF 3k limitting.... what else to check?

(btw getting Check engine after the swap, but he isnt saving the codes for me to check them!, gonna recheck tomorrow maybe i resetted it when checking.... )

i have two usernames and i hadnt noticed......

btw i just spliced the 2 cables that i needed to start it up nothing more

check your throttle position sensor for proper operation that was my problem on my car

Ok thx, ill start there, i found it quite misterious, since i mean... 3k limit issue is always the maf, but when i shut it down and inmediately turn on again, the rev limit goes away..... and the maf was ok...
