Found a local shop that said if I bring him the larger parts (trans, clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, master/slave cylinder) he could do the swap in a day or two for $500... So the question is how long did it take you to do your swap. I’m wondering if $500 is worth it to get it done so quick, don’t have to get oils all over myself, garage, house. He throws in bolts ($40?), clutch lines($40), maybe peddles($40) so I can take that off the quoted price. What do ya'll think?

I did the 5 speed swap by my self in a day, is very easy, you just need a friend because the trans is heavy.

I appreciate that Simon, it does make starting the job a little easier knowing someone can help out if needed. Just picked up a M/T today. Trying to get ahold of MrHolister about a parts trade (should have taken him up on it last weekend) to know what parts I need to go get next
