To start yes I have already searched this topic and found no real answer to my question. Anyways, I was wondering if it is really necessary to use the stock clutch line setup including that air bleeder thing or just run a long line direct from the master to the slave cylinder. I had heard that the direct line puts too much pressure on some seals in the master/slave cylinders causing them to not work, i'm not sure if this is ture or not. does anyone have any input on this. thanks

I'm using a 280z clutch master cylinder. its just one line and the slave is the same part number as the 240sx IIRC

A trip to the salvage yard should do the trick and helps save tons of money

Sups,

I had the swap done recently on s13 hatchback. Used a old clutch hardline, stock clutch cylinder, stainless steel line (short one) and, slave cylinder from FRSPORT. bought the tokico ones.

So it was the clutch cylinder to the hard line to the stainless steel line to the slave cylinder. Was previously an automatic and didnt have the damper box, so that wasnt installed. Supposed to give more direct/pedal feel for the clutch.

Hope this helps.
