5 speed +/- question

when i shift the knob to the +/- side of my Qthe display panel shows the car is in the 4th gear, no matter the car is running or notis it normal or something wrong for my gearbox??????

normal. when you throw it over to the gate lane, it will go into 4th.this is so that at any forward speed, it will be safe to throw over. once there, you can blip it up into 5th.

The display shows your requested shift lever position. Not the gear the transmission is actually in.

i was so afraid about it as when i drove my honda 3 years ago, the +/- gearbox failed and cost me a great deal amount of $$$ to repair it
