Ok. Fun time! Sr swap complete, tuned, and running. Here's the issue. After driving maybe 30 minutes at highway speeds, the transmission was really hot. The short shifter was getting warm. That seemed normal to me, but just to be safe, I pulled the dust boot. When I did there was a funky smell. Very much like natural gas. The transmission was rather hot. To the point that I couldn't touch it for longer than a second or two. I am running catless and with an ichiba exhaust manifold. The exhaust is right next to the transmission which could be a big part of the issue, but I wanted to run it by everyone.

Here's the setup.

SR20DET @262whpSPEC drift spec clutch/flywheelauto to manual conversionstock SR driveshaftNIsmo engine/transmission mountstranny was recently filled with fully synthetic 75W 90.

What should I do? I need to drive the car cross country soon.
