my car has 80,000 miles on it. How do you know when the clutch goes bad? it seems like i have to let the clutch go almost all the way before my car starts to catch. how far do you guys have to let go of the clutch before it starts to catch?

Do you know when the clutch was last replaced (if ever)?

You do have an adjustment on the pedal itself. Instructions on how to adjust the pedal are below.

Hows the clutch fluid level? Otherwise you can do what scott said...

Put your car in 5th gear and try to get it moving. If it doesn't stall out almost immediately, you probably need a new clutch.
