5 speed conversion done, what can i do about wiring harness?

im currently without a 5 speed wiring harness. is there some way to rewire the auto harness so that my reverse lights and speedometer work? im having to store the car until i figure out what i can do (or find a harness) since i dont want to drive around without a working speedo or odo. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

edit: by the way, my car is a 97 and the trans came from a 96 supposedly.

There is a link there to wiring instructions...you use the auto wiring (part of it, anyway), and splice 2 wires. Speend sensor plugs in. Easy.

I checked it out and I didn't see anything about the speedometer/odometer wiring. I'll prob end up buying a wiring harness, I'm not comfortable with wiring enough to follow the vaguely explained instructions in the link.
