5-Speed conversion completed, but top won't go up....

I finally got the 5-speed swap completed, but the top no longer goes up electronically, I know that I need to connect the wires that tell the car that it is in "Park", but when I popped open the dash and found the wires, there are 5 wires on one set, and 4 on the other... if anyone can tell me how to go about connecting these wires so that the car thinks its in park at all times, please respond... yeah the ignition is fine, key goes in an out perfectly, the only problem is trying to find a way to connect those 9 wires so that the car is in "park" at all times, because with the automatic, the car had to be in park for the top to go up or down.... now that there is no "park" the engine believes that the car is always in gear/neutral, and the idiot-proof top wont go up unless the car is in "park"...
