5 speed 1.6 sentra will move forward in gear or neutral

5 speed 1.6 sentra will move in reverse only in gear or neutral it will not move forward neutral or in gear, what could be the couse of this?

Are you saying that you cant move car forwards if you push it with it in Neutral?What about with engine off and with clutch in?

clutch in or out it will not go forward in any of the 5 gears or neutral, car on or off it will only move in reverse, clutch in or out and in neutral., only backwards. so basicly I would have to remove the axles to move it forward

Check the selector rod and bushings.

Try jacking the front up and manually turn one wheel in both directions, if the other rotates in the opposite direction Ok then its definitely in the gearbox.

If they wont rotate ok in both directions check the hubs and brakes, and axles visually, if you cant find anything there then you will have to pull the trans and dismantle and inspect.
