I personally use redline MTL, some use redline MT-90. It takes about 2.8L I seem to remember. There is a drain plug and a fill plug on the transmission. You fill it until it seeps out of the fill hole.

Err look on your transmission, on the direct bottom of it you will see a plug that has approximately a 1/2" square hole in it. Some people have stripped theirs using a 1/2" drive rachet but it works for me. There is the correct metric size tool available if you look around.

Always always ALWAYS remove the fill plug first. If you remove the drain plug and you can't get the fill plug out for whatever reason, you are fuct.

Fill on top, drain on bottom.

You shouldn't be working on cars if you can't figure that out, IMHO. Sorry.

Tips for future work:

1) Find a how-to article. There are many here and on TwinTurbo.net
2) Print it out and read it.
3) Buy the necessary parts/fluid/tools first.
4) Do work.

From the sound of the first post in this thread, it sounds like you drained the fluid, then asked what kind of fluid to put back in. Not exactly the best methodology.

Also, for future reference, you don't need to remove the transmission to change the fluid.

what other alternatives are there that are safe with the tt transmission, other than amsoil or redline mt90. There are all types of syn. gear oils and different weights, what is best to go with. will a generic gl5 80 90wt work???

2nd, it's got the most feedback from Z32 owners. I've used MTL and MT-90 with great results. I would try Royal Purple or Amsoil, but nothing else.

Transmission fluid and diff fluid are changed so infrequently it makes the most sense to spend a little more for quality stuff.

well if its not im blaming you for any future transmission issues. Its gonna be alllll your fault!!!!! lol I figured it would be fine too, they are a pretty reputable company, especially in the racing community.

www.myoilshop.com

I can also find it locally at my nearest Advance Auto Parts, or go to RedLine's website and find a local distributor.

I'm running NEO 75w90 full synthetic and I LOVE it! I only have a couple hundred miles on it but my transmission feels like butter now.
