I've got some questions about the 5 lug swap on an s13. I believe I have everything I'm going to need to do the swap. I'm going to use front spindles and hubs from an s14 and I believe the rear s14 hubs bolt up, do they need to be pressed in? I'm going to drill my 4 lug rotors for the 5 lug hubs and use stock calipers for now. I'm going to get the spacers for shock bolts from home depot to use the s13 bolts with the s14 spindles. How's my logic?

While I'm here, does anyone know of a 15" steelie to fit the 5 lug hubs?

The rear hubs are bolted in, so no press is required. And, why not just find some cheap, used S14 SE wheels?

I've got s14 rear spindles with hubs, I presumed they needed to be pressed out becuase of the difficulty I was having removing them...

I'm looking for a 15" steelie so that I can still take advantage of my stockpile of good 15" tires.

I have the s14 front spindles, so everything should bolt up, right?

And later on down the road I plan on getting z32 calipers and rotors up front, that shouldn't be a problem right?

If I'm not mistaken you need s14 LCAs because the ball joints are not the same taper as the s13's....

I too have the rear s14 hubs on my s13. They Dont need to be pressed in. I ended up getting ichiba front 5 lug hubs from Intensepower.com. I found it to be cheaper going that route since it was more to get the Lower Control Arms, Spindles and Hubs off an S14. At least were i live it was. Junk Yards are a$$holes here. As far as the Z32 calipers go, yes they will just bolt up.

For the rear, can I just buy new s14 rear rotors (needed prior to)?I've also been told that the s14 spindle is used with an s14 ball joint in the s13 lca, true?

you can use the S13 LCA just press out the old ball joint and press in new S14 ball joints. That is what I just did a week ago, both ball joints can be purchased from NAPA for 80 total. The rear is bolt on by 4 bolts in in the back around the axles, NO pressing needed. And you would still need shock spacers in the front (I hear its $37 from Vivid Racing now), I got mine for like 50. And then the rotors you could either redrill or get new ones to fit.

How can you fine those spacers from Home Depot? You got to let us know.

$50 for shock spacers? jeeeeez assss. I bought a 9/16" drill bit for $15 and drilled out the holes in my KYBs and the Tein coilovers that replaced those. Well, except for the top hole on the Teins, my brother rigged up a spacer for me at work.

I've realized my stock rotors are no good. What year S14 rotors do I need to replace the fronts, while also using the stock S13 calipers?

95 and up SE models. Check out nopionline.com. There like $45 for both front and rear. Oh and those are for replacment rotors. Dont know if thats what your looking for or if your going to replace them with performance ones.

Just ordered the rotors, should be here tuesday...I'm using s14 front spindles so I know I need to use the bolt spacers for the shocks, but I didn't find anything at HD (I was told I would-long story). I saw a link for the spacers on line but can't remember where. Can someone help me out?

So far tuesday looks like a busy day. Five lug swap, coil overs will be in, and new tires/wheels...

I ordered the Ksports from element motorsports. I called to ask, becuase of a group buy I saw on Z ilvia, and they let me get them for $790 shipped. So far the car is stock mechanically (down to the airfilter), and I plan on leaving it that way for a few months at the least. IMO the KA has plenty of power for the tight, low speed drifting I really like to do... but the SR this car replaced really helped with the 50mph+ touge runs.Next up are the z32 front brakes with hawk pads and ss lines. The rear will stay stock with hawk pads. Then I'm going to focus on bushings, already replaced the sway bar bushings and end-links made a world of difference-best $26 I've spent on the car!In a few months I'll probably end up with another sr, or an rb20... maybe an RB25 but I'm working on my brother's convertible that has the rb25 on the way so, still thinking.

where did you get the endlinks from??? I replaced my bushing also. Got kazama ones, got them for x-mas from a friend. I felt a difference. Lil bro didnt but he dont drive the car so he cant really tell. You should upgrade your rear brake lines also. I converted to the Z32 brakes up front and bought agency power conversion lines and they had asked me if i was still running the stock brake lines in the rear and i told them yes and they told me that i "should" didnt have to but did it anyways but upgrade the rears also since its a hydraulic system it putting more stress on the rear stock lines. Thats what they told me even if i didnt have to it wasnt expensive at all so it dont bother me lol

Hey wantarhd180sx did you get your a-tech weapon wheels installed on your car yet? What do you think? I love the way my car looks with them on I'll post some new pics soon.

To the op que paso boricua? Did my 5 lug conversion also I went with the ciruit sports it has longer wheel studs on the hubs in case you want to run wheel spacers. I like them installation was a breeze. The rears were a little stuck on there nothing to terrible though. Anyway good luck with your project maybe you can post some pics.

Endlinks are from Autozone... was $16.99 Need model 9.8120R. I did the front first, then was so convinced I went and did the rear, definately need both of them! I don't think rear lines are warranted in my case... just yet. The majority of the braking power is handled by the front and each line has it's own from the master.

I'm just using stock OE parts, ended up going to pick up the front Brembos from Nopi-they're only a ~20 minute drive from me, saved $40 on overnight shipping. I think I'm going to be needing some longer studs up front, the lug nuts barely miss fully engaging all the threads on the studs.

The wheels and hub swap is now done - except waiting on spacers for the spindles. They should be here tomorrow, overnighted from AZ was $40, more than the parts them selves. The desperately needed KSports will.... should also be here tomorrow. Then I'll be set... for a week or so...

Anyways, some pictures of the wheels. I REALLY like them. I'm thinking of going with a 195/50 up front for a little better clearance. Going to keep a 205/55 out back, I still have a few to burn through. I'm in need of a center cap so I'll leave the other three of for now, until I find a replacement.

...and the newly installed SKYJACKER!!!

Coil overs are on. Seems as though the ksports have a problem with the spring seats, the fronts click very bad while turning. I called the rep thursday after I tried to adjust them, trying to get the click out, and without question he said it was a problem they had after they tried to change the materials. He's sending the updated parts that I'll have to install. I'll also go ~1/2" lower when I have to disassemble the struts...

...and this ones pretty funny.
