I was wondering what was required to make the rear hubs off of a 300zx TT fit the rear of an S13? I've read that they bolt right up, and I've read that you need the axles off of the TT. If the axles are needed, do they bolt right up with no mods? I already searched the forum for the answer but I couldn't get a clear one. Thank you.

There's a reason no one will help you guys .

TT hubs will not work. Even if you get the axles from a tt, they are different lengths, etc. This has been discussed in great length on several different forums.

Stick to the tried and true z32 n/a hubs, what's so difficult about that?

I understand that the NA hubs are a direct bolt-on. I was just trying to clarify the TT hubs. I dont search in depth on other forums, mainly just nico. but from searching around the net i read that TT's bolt up, then i read that they only bolt up with the axles, that the TT's are the only one with aluminum uprights, and prior to this post i had read that they dont fit at all. so im just looking for the details, if anyone really knows, of what would be needed to make the TT hubs work? Im not die hard have to use TT parts, i just like the fact of aluminum uprights to reduce weight gain after the brake swap. Do the NA 300's also have aluminum uprights?

If you want to use aluminum uprights, you can get them from the n/a - all 300zx uprights are aluminum.

There are "unconfirmed issues" w/ the TT axles - i.e. not just diameter, but length.

You can do just the upright and stay 4 lug if you really wanted to, as long as you either modify your shock to mount to it (fork instead of circle mount). Or get coilovers that have switchable bottom mounts (i.e. KTS coilovers from SPL Parts).

You can actually find all that info on Nico, but you will have to be clever w/ searching/keywords & may have to use post bodies instead of topic titles.

There's also zilvia, freshalloy, etc, etc. No need to put all your eggs in one basket when there is such a vast amount of information just waiting to be ed.
