I am about to do the 5 lug conversion and want to know if anyone has used the egay ones and the pros and cons. I would rather pay $300 for these then what people are selling used s14 ones for the same price. I know ichiba ones are the recommended ones. Just want some opinions on these or other options.

Bearings are junk, we did a set of those on my buddies car and the one front bearing fell apart.

S14 / Z32 rear and Ichiba or S14 front.... my buddy just sold a complete oem 5 lug swap for 300

Ichiba is 100 more, and they use OEM bearings. They also developed the conversion front hub. I would save the extra hundred.

^So the Ichiba's you posted are for sure going to fit S13 spindles?

I've been looking into doing a 5 lug swap myself and for OEM swaps, for the fronts, you'll need S14 spindles + LCA and that's it, right?

Not when they are Ichiba conversion hubs.

If using S14 hubs you need
S14 LCA or S13 LCAs with S14 LBJs pressed in
S14 Knuckles
S14 front shock or coil or drill the hole bigger and use the larger S14 bolt or buy the thread spacer.

So if I buy these its basically plug and play? I have BMW wheels going on them so I know I need the adapter, but I dont think I need spacers either.

do you think I need control arms? What else do you think I need to to save tires and proper fitment. I have 19 and dont want my wheels bending in word much.

Ugh not sure, I am not a fan of wheel adapters myself. When I did all my suspension work I did this -

New front lower control arms
Inner / out tie rods and boots
Front and rear swaybar end links
Replaced rear lower ball joints
Bushing kit
Then after market toe rods, traction rods, sway bars, tension rods, subframe collars, coils etc.

Your just going to have to hammer the lips flat, tuck the harness's, and choose a tire correctly.

My ebay 5 lug is fine. Saved me about 1 billion dollars compared to Ichiba. Stock wheel bearings fit into them as well if you're worried about that, but mine haven't given me any problems, had them for over a year now.

I run the ichiba and they are fine. I also run h+r trak + hub centric spacers with exteneded studs, great way to get some length, if you get the adapters from h+r you have nothing to worry about.

Not everyone that buys the eBay ones luck out. I had to replace the bearings on both the fronts

Ichiba is good, or so I've heard. Also heard stories about bearings being weak though. Best bet it to source OEM parts OutToWinPAHC mentioned from the s14. I got the same setup for the front; s14 spindles and 5 lug hubs, s14 ball joints pressed in new s13 lower control arms, and decided to re use my old s13 strut- to- spindle bolts by using Agency Power spacers. Otherwise you must get some s14 bolts which aren't too easy to get. (plus drilling)

I got my s14 spindles WITH 5 lug hubs for just $100 shipped!!! Rear I got for $150, which consisted of aluminum spindles( ), z32 n/a backing plate AND hubs, and the ENTIRE suspension arms. The guy was too lazy to remove components, he trew everything including struts and spring setup lol. Look on ebay or craigslist and you WILL find these items for a fair price...Good luck

So I dont half to have Lower Control Arms for the ichiba's? LCA are for tire angle to get more on the road and not angled in word right?

S13 guys sometimes run S14 LCA's for angle reasons. But when it comes to Ichiba conversion hubs they are OEM hubs machined to use an OEM s13 bearing. So you dont need anything else. If you want S14 LCA's and to use your S13 spindles and S13 or Ichiba hub you just need to press out the S14 lower ball joint and press in a S13 LBJ

cool, so I just need the conversion and coils for now for my daily driver? I am limited on my budget for now. I will eventually get all the sway bars, front/rear Contol arms and what not, but its not critical right away correct?

S13 an S14 hubs both have bearings, but the size and spindles are different.
