I didn't do the five lug conversion but I did remove my 4lug hubs when I did my rear brake convesion and I ran into a problem like that. Once you remove the four bolts the entire assembly, hub, spindle and dust shield should just fall apart which is what happened on my passenger side but my drivers side was a different story. It would not come apart, man I beat on that thing like crazy. I did some searching and found out that this is common because of the heat generated over time some spindles/hubs will seize up and not come apart. I had a buddy at a dealership use a press to get mine apart.

Good job.I would think PB Blaster, mullet & breaker bar will get the job done for sure. They've never let me down.

Dude I'm telling you the heat got to it. Press 'em out to be on the safe side! Mighty Thor'in on 'em with a hammer is gonna ruin your hubs.
