5 lug conversion spindle question...

well i have been searching and cant find this but i finished my five lug conversion and when tryin to connect the rod for the steering to the spindle i got stuck...when trying to tighten the nut the bolt just spins withit...do i need to go rent some tool or wat??i got the left one on fine but the right just wont work....

if you are talking about what I think you are: your tie rod end could be busted, it shouldn't move at all when tightening.

you should have to just put a jack under it and lift it up to put some pressure on it to keep it from spinning. somebody please correct me if im worng.

That is generally what has worked for me in the past. Put some pressure on the bottom of the tie rod end while tightening.

thats wat i tried and kept spinnin out f***in wierd...just went and bought a new tie rod end and worked perfectly...

thanks for the help though guys...now i can start my five speed conversiion
