5 lug conversion for S14!

ok! i searched and didnt really find what i was looking for. i wanna know if i would get the hub from the Q45, or 300zx, would it just bolt on? or would i have to costome? i know that i could get the SE S14 hub but i wanna know if i could use the Q45, or the 300zx?

nope. no q45, no z32 front. z32 rear works. and s14 front is not a direct bolt on. you still need the s14 ball joint on the s13 lower arm, and the s14 knuckle.

its much cheaper and time saving to just get ichiba hubs or whatever.

dang!! so you think just get a 5 lug conversion kit? or if i get an S14 SE hub? well i have the Q45 caliper(2 piston), and rotors(drill and slotted) will they just bolt on too?

im assuming you have q45 rotors, so i know they will fit. i thought about going all OEM with the conversion, but the front can be costly because:

-$120 per hub at your local Nissan stealership-$30-40 per ball joint-hard to locate used s14 knuckles

whereas the front conversion hubs are just $249 for a set.

the rear OEM conversion is way more cost effective and easier to find since you can get them from a z32 or s14. and its as simple as bolting it up. the rear conversion kits are more expensive.

ok! so if i find a 300zx i can just get the hub and bolt it of, right? because i know someone with a Z32!

actually after reading it, the s14 front is actually a direct bolt on. i thought u were refferring to the S13. haha.

Had a little trouble following...whats a direct bolt on to the front? Im also doing 5 lug on my s14, i have na z32 rears i need to figure out the fronts...sorry to semi hijack...

s14 5 lugs are direct bolt ons for the front.

^ah....well yeah i thought u may have meant z32 was, is there anything that bolts on an s14 in the front other than the obvious 5 lug s14 hubs?

as far as i know those are the only ones. if there was an s14 at the junkyard i would pull every nissan hub in the yard and see which fits. but until then i guess we will never know...
