5 lug conversion and wider wheel swap

hello all-i own a 1992 240 sx se and am thinking about going from the stock 4 lug wheel patern to a 5 lug pattern-

anyone do any easy swaps like this?

basically i want to get a fatter(wider) wheel and tire in the rear for looks-to fill in the wheel well- and for handling-

can this be done with the 4 lug pattern?what needs to be done- spacers, etc?are there any mechanical conflicts behind the wheel if this is done?

i am very uninformed so any enlightment will do

plus i think this is something that a lot of people will find useful
