So I decided that I wanted to move around a few things in the office on my day off yesterday. Started at 10...finnished at about 4:30. I installed a water temp gauge, in line adapter for the sensor, fixed a coolant leak, then moved and installed a new boost gauge (anyone need a cheap Autometer one? I now have a spare) and moved my HKS E-01 TT. I love the new look except for the gaping hole that will be a EGT as soon as my tax return get here. Enjoy!

Before:Note the boost gauge over the steering column and the timer in the DIN pocket.

Odds n Ends

Done

Gauges are Autometer full sweep electric Pro Comp Ultra Lite. Brushed aluminum gives the feel of an old school hot rod....

When I install my Nismo FPR finally so that it runs correctly and it dosen't embarass itself in front of other Nissans

BTW: The adapter for the temp sender is from the good folks at SPL:http://www.splparts.com Under any car, under "Fittings and Plumbing".

Yes, the dual pod is an Autometer one. Fits better than the one for my FC did. The pod on the wind screen is some cheap one off eBay that is actually really great.

Of course not! HAHA. I am really considering getting an Apex Rev/Speed meter and going with that. It all depends on if I can find a HUD dash when I go to replace mine. For now, I really don't care

Also, anyone think a hater (cop) will give me trouble for having a big, black thing hanging from behind the state registration/inspection stickers? Fuzz Busters are illegal in Tejas, so I just don't hope someone thinks it is one and pulls me over. My car is legit (insured, all paper work, etc), so it would be no big deal, just annoying...

Hey Alan, if you read this before I catch you on IM or whatever, I will be in Round Rock for my roommate's wedding party (they got married in December, but her 'rents are throwing them a party at their place in RR) is the first weekend in April (2nd I beleive) If you wanna let me crash on your couch, or I can call Keith and Lisa Lempa and I bet he'd let me crash there, I could come up a day or two early and check ya'll out. I'll have my tax return by then so you can get some $$$ out of me more than likely as well

what size water temp. adapter did you get? i got the 34mm one and it almost looks to small, but then i realize how thick the walls are on the radiator hose.

I got the 38mm and I had to grind off the lips on both sides to get it to fit. Someone told me that was the size to get. It wasn't.

Yeah sure man, but I live in South Austin. Prolly want to hit up Keith cause he lives north.

The SE-R convention is on that weekend too, and it's in Austin. Just FYI.

I believe Keith has my cell # if you wanna call me.

Dunno. It was like $65 new, but you will need a new nylon hose to run from vac source to the gauge. Comes with the fittings needed and light. Shoot me an offer I guess:[email protected]
