I think it was like the wall base moulding for when you recarpet..you see it alot in commercial places cuz it's cheap and durable, but at home we usually use like wood moulding.

well here's the final product.. i'm pretty satisfied.. just need some touch ups.....

i used:

8feet wallbase from home depotand scotch heavy duty mounting tape 2 rolls

looks pretty nice here

yeah.. i know i need a paintjob

the end here looks loose only cause i didnt put tape on the end, which i will do in a little bit

and of course it looks ghetto at the side, but it looks good everywhere else!

wow, for $5 you just can go wrong. Whats the exact name of the plastic, Cause i couldnt find it in my home depot and they didnt know what i was talking about.

its called wall base... its in the section with carpets and floor stuff. it was actually only $3.74 for the wallbase itself.. but $3.99 for the heavy duty tape, which comes out to about 7bucks

Will it stay on even at extended high speed operation? Better get the most expensive molding adhesive to be sure.

S14, you're right, but how embarrassing would it be to loose it, drag it around, and have to come out and pull it the rest of the way off in front of people. Would be funny though.

Just put a few screws painted flat black in it and it won't come off. I was planning on doing something like this until I find a bumper I really like that has decent aero.

I think people got this from me, I was doing this to my 94 acura integra back almost 3 years ago. saw the molding at home depot and put it on there with rivets, of course double sided tape is much better idea. It didn't stick on the car for long with rivets.
