The same thing happened to me over 30 years ago on a 1974 Mazda RX4 Rotory Engine. My wife used the car for work and began complaining of the engine stalling & cutting out at 50 mph. After two trips to two different dealers we traded vehicles. I carried tools and a mutimeter with me and eventually discovered an intermittant fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump myself. End of problem! It took about two months to finally resolve the problem.I don't know if your issue is the same but it sure sounds like it? Ask the dealer to check electrical connections & replace the fuel pump & fuel filters if they cannot otherwise find the problem.fredij2004 wrote: i had a post a long time ago about my car stalling around 40 mph i live in Indiana and now that its getting cold its also stalling at 5 and 50 mph. i had gotten a service sheet when i took it in to have the problem checked out and the service manager wrote on the sheet that infiniti was aware of the problem and that it was being investigated. That was about 5 months ago and i was supposed to be getting a call when they figured out how to fix it. That never came. I stopped in at dealer and asked what was the delay and he just told me he has had a huge amount of people coming in with the same problem but there is nothing that he can do. it sounded unacceptable to me that i would have to wait 5 months if not longer to get a problem fixed on a car that is under warranty.
All the dealer gave me was the number to the Consumer Affairs. I called them and explained my problem. their consumer affairs rep finally asked me what i wanted Infiniti to do about it. I let him know that the problem was no longer an in convenience but it has become dangerous to pull out onto highways or cross busy intersections. What i asked them to do is to get the problem resolved with my car or i need to get something comparable to my car as a loaner in till the problem is fixed however long that may be. I am expecting a call back from the rep on Tuesday and he said he should be able to let me know what can be done. I love my G35 and everything about it but after this car i don't think i will ever be buying another infiniti. It might seem like im writing a book but i just cant understand why a car company like infiniti would not want to take care of its customers. Let me know if anyone has experienced similar problems with warranty or same problems and what was done about it.
Ill keep you updated

He did tell me he had been seeing it a lot not only in the G but also the M.adren77 wrote:That sucks man. I think i read that the g37 coupes have a same issue.
Is this happening on 6mt too?
They drove it and the car did it while they were driving but the did not flash the ECU im sure.zozoka1212 wrote:As I remember from the old post they check it ut for him and could not find anything wrong with it. They even test drove it but sure it was good that time. I hate that. You want to prove something to somebody and it hapenes 90% of the time. But when you try to show somebody like it doesn't work. ARRGH
I think it worth to have the ECU flashed. It could be it who knows. At this point I think they have no clue what the problem is.
My dad's '05 hemi ram did the same exact thing. After several trips to the dealer, they finally flashed the ECU and it has never happened again.gwoods wrote:My 2004 Hemi Ram would stall all the time without warning. I'd pull into the parking lot at work and it would stall. I'd be crusing on the freeway and it would stall. The dealership "reflashed" the ECU and it fixed it forever.
It looks like your best bet is to get the ECU flashed.fredij2004 wrote:
