5/28 Import Day at Edgewater Sports Park, Cleves OH

If anyone is interested, Import Day is this coming Sunday, May 28th. I know its short notice. It should have a decent showing if the weather is nice. I plan to be up there with a few friends. If anyone is interested in meeting up let me know.

Details Import Car Day - Sunday May 28, 2006 Car Show and 1/4 Mile Drag Event http://www.edgewaterrace.com - Gates open at 9:00am - $25 to race Quick 8 - $20 to race Import - $20 to race Subcompact - $10 to show - $10 for adults to watch - $5 for children ages 6-8 (I am assuming 5 and under is free)(NOTE: The girl I talked to at the track sounded very confused so I would bring extra money in case she is wrong. She said Quick 8 was $25 but they say $30 on their website...)

The quick 8 for this race must be a street driven vehicle - Elimination begins at 1:00pm - No trailered cars in this class - It will be a heads up format - Winner $1,000

Sweet! I wouldn't mind meeting up with everybody. What time are you looking at meeting? We could do breakfast somewhere. Closest breakfast I can think of is Frisch's in Cheviot on Harrison. Or maybe Perkins on Westborne off of Glenway.

It says it is a Quick 8 event. Isn't it bracket racing anyway? As long as you don't break out you should be good to go.

as it turns out, in order to run nitrous you have to have a fire extinguisher mounted in the car as well as a Nitrous sign on the car.....

Funny how they never mention any of that on the website, OR requiring to have a helmet for any car faster than 13.99
