May 22nd 2004Nico / SHIFT_502 Cook Out

The meet today was awesome. It all started early on Saturday the 22nd with Scott and Cullen getting all the food and items needed for the cookout. The got to the park early to save us a prime spot. Correction about my ride, its a 95, lol! My old one was a 96.

It was nice seeing everybody as usual, too bad I can't show up tomorrow for the track day. I had some fun toying with a Mustang GT and Chevy LT1 on the way home though :).

Look like a good turn out. Too bad I had to work, plus I would of had to tow my car there to attend anyway.

I need to become independently wealthy so I can buy a GT-R and not miss meets due to work. I did spend the rest of the weekend driving a yellow H2 however. People look at you in those, go figure.

Thanks for all the kind words, but I'm not done yet. Being a man of the people, I believe in, "Give the people what they want." In that fashion, and as my last deed for this past weekend's festivities...I present to you all (as well as any who would doubt the appeal of our Louisville meets), NICO Louisville style: The Deleted Scenes

Enjoy horndogs!

Good work, yea the scenery was "nice". I have got to keep some binoculars on me from now on.

Maybe I can strap a monocular on my digi cam for some homemade zoom

Now I really wish I woulda come!! Lets see, it was either coming to the meet, or changing a thermostat in my grandpa's boat, and relaxing in front of the lake... Tough call.

I dont think it was a good day for most people. I spent the better part of the morning trying to adjust the gear selector in the WRX to allow it to shift into 2nd, 4th and Reverse (Thanks Joel for your help). My times were so bad that Mike kept up with me in the Altima. It was not a good day for the WRX. May have to go down to IRP to vindicate myself.
