I've never been a big bose fan, but my father has the car and it sounds pretty good with the 5.1, but then again I haven't heard it without it. Anything else that comes with the 5.1 package that I would like to know?mazz wrote:i think soyou can find numerous post on guys improving there system adding sub woofers and 50000 watt ampsbut i think that part of the tech pkg is the one i use the most

But if it has the Bose 14 speaker system, then it has the advance technology package. I would go with the one with the advance technology package. You get....
-5.1 14 speaker surround sound system. (Important is your doing the Hack)-Intelligent Cruise Control-Brake Assist-Lane Departure System (could do without)-XM receiver provided (the other one may have added already though)
So you should be getting more with the Black on Black.
If you're going to be watching movies, either parked or with the DVD hack, 5.1 with movies is awesome.
If it were me, I'd take the bourbon interior in a heartbeat. In fact, faced with a similar choice, I did! In my case, I passed up on the nav to get the bourbon interior. But it brings a smile to my face every time I get in!jlindy wrote: If it were you, which one would you pick.
You can watch a dvd, but the 5.1 sounds amazing with a movie. So if your watching a lot of movies, then 5.1 is the way to go.jlindy wrote:Can you not watch a DVD (parked) without the 5.1? I would think that you could because the non-5.1 NAV is still a DVD based system.
Also, Black/black is rare? I can see the bourbon being rare, but what color does Black usually come with?

What does the Infiniti Dealer performed service history reveal?jlindy wrote: Is that a great deal or could I do better?

Maintenance history is much more important than coler choice when it comes to longevity and long term expense.
