4x4 transmission speedometer drive

Car: 1985 Nissan 720 2WD A/T

Hello I'm new to the forum, I purchased a 1985 720 2WD automatic with a blown engine. I purchased a 1984 King cab for the engine and 5 speed transmission but realize now the the speedometer cable is driven off the transfer case are there any mods that can be done to make the speedometer work with that transmission or do I need to find one out of a 2WD?
