I would imagine that the 4x4 flares will fit a standard 2wd. Does anyone have pics of this done, or at least know that it is possible? I scored a set of 15x8's for my shortbox but they are a little to wide.

These are the flares.

No problem, they used the same body panel for the 4x4 and 2wd.

Side note, Have you been to All West Coast Auto wrecking? It is down close to you right?

Yes it is like 10 minutes from my house. I was going to go wrecking yard hoping as soon as i found out that they fit. Shelton has quite a few yards to choose from so im sure i will find a set. Thanks for the reply.

15X8 shouldn't be too wide unless the dish of the rim is all on the outside.

You nailed it. 15x8 w/3in backsapce. I figure with a slight pull and the flares i will be golden.

Remember the flares are formed to suit the original shape of the fender. Pulling of the lip will change the contact area at the top of the flare and will not look uniform.

True, i overlooked that fact. Well hopefully i can get away with just the flares. If not i only paid $30 for the 15x8's, plus i have my eye on another set. They are still 15x8 just not so negative of an offset.

Look for a set for me also, please. I have trouble getting time to get down that way, and the yards up here suck. If you find some 15 or 16 inch wagon wheel rims let me know, I am looking for some for my rear rims. Just need a pair not a full set. Last yard I went to only had 1 nissan truck, a D21.

No luck on the flares.

Btw- There is a guy in gig harbor that has a ton of different steel wheels. He only wants like $30 for a pair, i picked up two 15x8 3in bs white wagon wheels from him. His ads are on craigslist ussually under wheelin wheels or cheap wheels.

Thanks for the info. I am going to try some flares off a Pathfinder. Have you thought about that one?

Yeah i tried them. I was at pick-a-part in tumwater and they had a couple pathfinders. I held the pf flare up to a 720 at the yard and it was just a little off. The arch is bigger.

How much off? I did not get a chance to do the comparison at the yard.

It was a decent amount. A little long, i imagine them to be dirt cheap if you want to experement with them.
