Is there an easy way to convert the lugs to 4x100 to open more wheel choices without going through all the trouble fo the 5 lug conversion? When you do a Z32 brake upgrade you have to get the rotors drilled to fit the 4x114.3 studs but can to get the piece that the studs are in redrilled with new studs put in?

You might want to use the search function before posting. This has been talked about in previous threads.

You want to go to 4x100?

Why.

4x100 is what Honda Civics and Kias have.

Do 5 lug.

I would go 5 lug but I thought the whole swap with new ball joints and what not would be more expensive than just redrilling for a more common bolt pattern.

come on, how could you posibly want 4x100? yes they make alot of cheap arse, crappy wheels for that size but then again, most of those wheels are universal 4 lug (4x100 AND 4 x 114.3). It would cost you more to go to 4x100 cause of all the custom stuff you would have to fabricate (custom hubs at a machine shop). If you were going that rout it would still be better (and cheaper) to go 5 lug. If you dont want to swap out the front suspension, get aftermarket 5 lug hubs for the 240, yes they DO make them. (http://www.jspec.com or http://www.phase2motortrend.com can get them) For the back you just need either s14 or Z32 rear 5 lug hubs.

I have read the SCC z32 brake article and have searched the topic here and you are telling me all I would have to do is buy Z32 brakes and rotors and then 4 to 5 lug conversion hubs? I can just put those hubs on without using the S14 spindle? What about the rear brakes? All I need is the hub and not the whole forged rear which would require different shock mounts?

Awsome. That is so much easier that I think I will actually do it. Changing all the suspension parts seemed a little too complicated except in the rear. If I can find the whole aluminum upright for the rear I think I will put that in to save weight.

that will still force you to use very expensive hybrid rear suspension peices, just keep the stock uprights.

Whap hybrid rear pieces? The only thing that I would need that would be different on the rear would be the lower shock mount. And after looking at the prices on the conversion hubs ($500) it is now seeming like a better idea to just get the new ball joint in the front end put in and just use the stock 5-lug hubs.
