Hi
The 4WAS light is coming on plus a load of other lights, which I'm led to believe from the post below is the motor thingy on the back axle.
Just went under to have a look, and it's not in the best shape. While this isolation is going on, I'm gonna take the time to try and repair it, otherwise I'll just get another one.
Anyway went to take it off and the screws completely rounded and rusted, as per the photo. Any ideas on the best way to remove it.. i was thinking about using the bolts above the screw, but I don't know if that would cause any trouble?
Thanks for any help
Regards
Mike

Take a hammer and chisel to it and pick one spot and keep going at it until it starts to turn. First douse it in bolt blaster (WD-40/PB, etc.). My dad has saved my bacon with that trick so many times.

Probably safer to just dremel a slot into the head and use a flathead socket and ratchet it off. That way you don't hammer your actuator?

Thanks for the replies
I did think about using a hammer and chisel, dont fancy damaging it though..
Probably go with the dremel first
