Hi
Getting the following error codes using a dedicated Nissan scanner. I’ve checked all the ABS sensors and they all seem to be working fine. I’m pretty sure all the errors are stemming from the 1686 code. Could there be a short between the main 4WAS ECU and the and the one in the front? Thanks for any help. I’ve already taken it to a dedicated Nissan dealership and they seemed more interested in replacing the DPF at a cost of 3k which I managed to do myself using a re-gen and my own scanner. So I’m worried they’re gonna try and get me to replace something at a silly cost that doesn’t need replacing. Thanks for any help, the error codes are below.

Ed, do you know if the 4WAS ECU requires programming? If not, maybe getting one from the junk yard is an option?

Really wish dealers had to take a part back if it didn't fix the issue...or at least refund you the labor. Should be a law if it's an expensive job lol.

The 4WAS doesn't require programming, but it does require configuration and calibration.
