I have a 93 ka24de with 202k miles and only an air filter for after market and lately the 4th piston has been misfiring cause the whole car (especially the engine) to shake. I know its the fourth because when i take out the spark plug cable from the 4th piston nothing changes yet when i take out any of the others it bogs down(also it is sparking properly; bright blue spark). I've replaced the rotor and distributor cap, spark plugs, spark plug cables, and I put fuel treatment/anti-freeze as well as injector cleaner in it yesterday. Since none of that resolved the issue I'm thinking the 4th injector is bad but to buy a new one that's gonna be 50+ which i want to avoid if possible. I could look into getting one from some one here on the forums but I'm still not sure if that's the issue.

What else do you guys think the problem could be? bad fuel filter?

fuel filter would effect all cylinders at different times. take and wiggle the injector harness while its running and see if it changes. turns out my misfire was the injector connector.

its most likely the injector common, especially if they haven't been changed in a while. best bet is probably that. let us kno how it goes

look the best way to check injector is check the resistance with a ohmmeterthe range is 12 to 14 ohms depending on engine temperature... more than 14 the injector coil is faulty.... two or three ohms top diference between all four is the best for steady idle... .
