Is this something that could be ordered through the parts department at a local Nissan dealership?

^^ It is an AEM intake - no doubt about it. The part number 16576-rnl35 is no where to be found on Nissan's website. Someone could have made it up, and now it circulates on the web.

Then again, Nissan could have easily contracted AEM (which is owned by K&N) to make this part and they brand it as their own. I recall a few Nissan dealer's were selling Stillen's exhaust as the Nismo for the 3.5 coupe - after the A/C Nismo for the 3.5 stopped being produced.

I would be interested to hear if anyone contact's a dealership with this part number to see what they say. If it's truly a Nissan part, there should be no risk of voiding the warranty (unless of course your GT-R has launch control :-P).
