When I go to start my car, the engine will turn over but there is no engine start sound, but the engine fan will come on, this just started today. I haven't been able to find any ideas as to why this would be happening, I thought maybe becuase it's 114 here today and the car is black maybe the engine just got to hot, but is there a specific problem I maybe able to pinpoint this to? Thanks.

Check your battery connections are clean and tight and voltage >12.5VDC. If not, try to jumper the car and see if it starts, If engine runs, then you need to replace the battery.

If car still won't start, you may have a problem with fuel delivery, ignition or engine control/sensor. Also check the main engine harness ground points (2 ea near intake plenum close to cylinder #2) are clean and tight. When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter? Is the CEL ON? Do you have any maintenance record of the car?

Battery cables are okay, the battery is a year old tested they are working, but now there is a spark undernearth when I am trying to start it, I am thinking now it maybe the solenoid or possibly the starter grant it, I've never seen either of those arc an shoot sparks but I am going to try an get off early tonight and I will check your second points of interest loystock an let you know, thanks in advance for the ideas. I don't have a maint. record just payed off the car from a used dealer.

Could be a loose connections to the starter assembly or start circuit. Did you find out the cause of the spark?

I am going to have the starter assembly and start circut, solenoid et all tested, it looks like there are wires melting and possibly causing the sparks. At this point I've tried everything. I'll post back once the starter is tested
