4th annual SoCal240SX.org summer BBQ party!

Here it is, our 4th annual summer BBQ party!

Saturday, August 23rd 2003@ Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, California11:30AM till 3:30PM or whenever we call it quits.

Enter on the southeast corner of the park, on the Euclid side. Take 405N or 405S and exit Euclid, then head north on Euclid and make a left into Mile Square Park after crossing Warner, then left at first parking area. Look for 240SXes!

Parking at the park is $6 per car entering the park.

We will charge you $3 per person for food... Now accepting applications for cooks (unless Robthechef wants to take it over!)

And yes, all convertible 240SX owners that attend this meet will payNOTHING!!! I will pay for your lunch!!!

Last year we had over 60 cars come out... this year be sure to show up! (Just FYI, we *may* get a famous D1 car to come to the park....)

It should be noted that any stupid stunts, burnouts, or idiotic display of horsepower/car/whatever will result in 1) you being kicked out of venue, and 2) us calling the cops on you. If you want to screw around this is not the place nor the event to do so.

its cool Alex. all the guys that i know on here from SoCal are cool. they are not idiots. no burnouts, parking lot dori dori, blasting music, etc.

I'm not saying anyone is an idiot, nor am I implying anyone will do those things, I'm merely stating my stance on this matter. The way I see it, one person wants to have a display of ego and we all get kicked out... not worth it at all. Better to have the rules out beforehand so that there is no confusion or "I didn't know you can't do that!"

lol. its all good. oh and on a random note...how many people have the NAMS fender bas in the U.S.? i shall be added to the list quite soon. and i shall live with the tiny dents that they put in the fenders. ^_^

I have the NAMS fender bars, and before you put the fenders back on be sure to grind off the corner where it sticks out; I made the mistake of not fit-checking 100% (I pulled the fenders off and put the bars on and didn't bother to check clearance) and now I have fenders with two small dimples.

Grind off the corner where the two pieces meet the front part of the bar...

Right on!! Ive never been to one of the meets, Ive been going to this message board for like 2 years, so cool!! If someone could get some good directions or exact address, it would help, otherwise im sure ill find it from the directions posted above. Is there gonna be anything afterwardss, maybe some drifting somewhere, i dunno, i think it would be fun!!

Oh by the way, is it only 240s? My friend has an FC, but he can ride with me i suppose. Hes in the so. cal RX7 club. I think both our clubs should meet up some time and rrun the canyons in simi valley and stuff.

Sorry guys, I've been registering for school and doing some "Top Secret" stuff to my car before the next meet, hopefully....I've been wanting to go, but stuff like this and work get in the way.

I will see you guys soon though, maybe this Aug 23rd meet,

But anywayz, for thjose of you that went to the drift showoff, who the hel put a sign taped to their window that read "I EAT RICE!!" i saw that on the way there, it had to have been the funniest fuukin thing ive seen done to a casr---rweally. anywayz, lets do some driftin somewhere afterwards, ive been practicing here and there, my rear wheels are very ready...
