That's a special order item from TRD only. Like Antyoo said, good luck finding it. S15 SR should be pretty easy to find, just will take time and will cost you quite a bit for it.

why would you ask for an FA4age on nico. yea deffinitley cut down on the initial D.

i guess the s15 sr20 is an ok question though. i was gonna put one in my s2000 but then my mechanic sold them to somone else so me and my friend pumped oil into his mouth. but its cool i got another one and i won some kids jetta.

well the formula 4age isn't too hard to piece together after talking to one of my 86 buddies. Apparently it's just the ae101 block and head, everything else is TRD. The crank alone costs $5800. If you plan do to that, apparently TRD USA can get the engine parts. The rest of the parts minus the oil pump, oil pan, con rods, and pistons, the rest of the parts aren't too bad in price. There will be required machining as well.

get a damn daily driver boy!

I know we all had dreams of race cars when we were your age, but I think you need to learn to drive before you learn to race:D

get one of the two and stay stock for a while (a long while:D)

OKFa 4age were can I get the parts? I know $$$$$. Mr1der This my answer to my dad boxster S. My dad does not think this that this car is for real like the FA and s***. I want to show him. why 85 Gt-s could kill him in a race on a track. Wegth = with cf parts (1500lbs) HP=240 REv=11,000rpms 5speedBoxster s = 2830, 250, 8,000 with 6speed I mean this guy has treated all my dreams like s*** and has been the biggest jerk to me. I would love to get the chance to prove him wrong.Second 4age culb doesn't any thig right now.The s15 the other car I want one bad basiclly to autocross in and the s15 front is bad ***. This is the other my dad should have got. I want to show him. what It can do

Beating a new car like a Boxter in autocross is difficult but not impossible.Even before more power I would replace <all> bushings on your car ( to include rack even if it still feels ok). Then new shocks, and your 3/4's of the way there.Maybe bigger sway bars too, tehy would raise limits but could make handling trickier.

A stronger brake set-up ( Steel braided lines vented rotors etc) and the stickiest tires money can buy.A well sorted SR, CA or even KA-T will give you plenty of power to compete with a Boxster.

As for the quarter you can beat a Boxster S all day long, just with a well sorted SR.

A well kept GT-s should be close enough to a new boxster in handling that it comes down to driver.Experience can be a Killer here.

Good Luck keep us posted please.

You could just buy a porche for the cost of what you want to do, spending $60,000 on a 19 year old commuter car is a little crazy if you ask me. I want a old 'rolla myself, but you have to realize, the ARE slow cars, even with a expensive FA 4age its still not going to be a rocket.

The purpos of building a car is for self enjoyment, not proving somebody wrong...

I dont see anything wrong with trying to prove the old man wrong.

I just think Power isnt all tehre is to it.

any S13 w/ well sorted SR and renwed+a bit modded suspension can beat a boxster S on the Autocross. The boxster might be the smallest Porsche but is still a big car on the AutoX.

Smaller cars like S13 do well there.

As for quarter miling the S runs what low 14's? hi 13's?Many swapped 240's here on this site do better.

yeah but he is talking about making a 1985 corolla beat a much newer, much faster car. EVERY person who ventures over to club 4ag gets told the same thing: If your looking for a fun car, this is the place to be, if your looking for a fast car, you might be disapointed.

the AE86 is a very good autocross car, but most, if not all of the suspension will need to be replaced $$$$$$$$$

and they rust really really bad, and the chassis has to be reinforced to support more then 200 hp and the motor is rather pricey to work on regardless of parts quality.

Just get an old Datsun 2000 and put a SR in it, that'd be funny, probably require as much work as an 86 too...
