Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

miles in 9 days - we took a tour of the fall colors in Upstate New York, on into Canada and Nova Scotia. It seems we were a bit premature - saw a nice red tree in Pennsylvania, all else was green....
The trip was (literally) a washout, with rain nearly every day, very disappointing - BUT the EX performed flawlessly. Overall fuel consumption 24.9 mpg, including a lot of motorway at speed, occasional extended jaunts in triple digits, and stop-and-go rush hour from southern New Hampshire through CT and Mass.
Terrific car. No regrets 18 months and 18K miles into ownership. The factory GPS has very outdated map data, and its refusal to accept most inputs while moving is quite irritating, but all else worked a treat!

That's some driving! Good update. Too bad you didn't get to see the colors change. We never get to see that here in the desert either!

Edited to add this: If you notice the tree behind my car, it is one of our few tastes of Fall. It actually changes from green to deep red around Christmas time. Also have a huge Fig tree that changes from green to a golden yellow. Not much else here changes! Too many palm trees and cactus!

Colours are just beginning to change here in Eastern Ontario. In 2 weeks, it should be spectacular! Part of the reason why they say the fall colours won't be as great as in previous years is because of very dry summer we had in Eastern Canada; it might have killed trees or hurt them significantly. Weaker trees turned yellow /red in August!

Happy to see that the EX performed like a champ! Not surprised, however

WOW... that's lots of Seat time.

I wish I had done that trip (minus the Rain) on my Motorbike...
