48 Hours

I need encouragement or even a good talking to. Here is what I have to do...

Re-Seal (RTV) Drivers side valve cover.

Put under-plenum hoses on.

Put plenum back on.

Find where all those brackets and the little stuff connect to.I have pretty much lost track of all of it.

Put TB back on, EGR, MAF and all relating parts.

Refill with fresh fluids, ie;brake, atf, oil, radiator

Tie rod bushings.

Broken stud on rear tire.

If I stay motivated, which is so hard to do I don't know why, I aim to have everything having to do with the engine done by wednesday and thurday for all the other stuff.

The only reason I post this is to call myself out so to speak. Go Public with it in hopes of adding pressure to my self inflicted deadline. Cause otherwise, I would put on a hose a day and call it quits, like I did today.

So chime in if you feel like it, I need to be yelled at for not having this done. It is Mon 9:40 pm (EST), by this time wed if I don't have that car running, ban me from the boards....well not really.

Who knows I might even get a head start tonight...

dude walking sucks a whole lot, and so does public transportation.. so just get the damned car running ethere that or pay some jackazz at a shop to do the work for u and pay 200% more for everything then u would if u did it yourself, so get out there and DO IT DO IT!

Look yourself in the mirror and say "get on it, you *****!" then put on some fast, heavy music and get crackin. That's what I do when I have a lot to do and so little time.

Now I feel guilty, cause I really love working on my car. I am neglecting it. I don't want to give excuses either. I take the blame. The only way I can make it up to her is to have it running by 9:40 pm tomorrow.

2 and a half hours to go. Behind schedule. I am about to reseal the valve cover, then it will be a mad scramble to get the plenum on. All the hoses are aligned and ready to connect. It will get done tonight, just don't know if I will hit the 9:40 deadline.

Ohh wait y'all, I didn't tell everyone. I meant 48 hours from yesterday. So that means I still have until tomorrow at 9:40 pm to get it all done. My Bad!!!

I guess you guys thought the deadline was today? Boy is my face red. Seriously though, I didn't finish. I am tired, hungry, my hands are all cut up, and I just want it to be tomorrow so I can finish. Have Faith. It will get done.
