I'm sure it's totally worth the $650, but the problem is that they don't have any in stock and when they do get more, the price is to increase.

So, I'm not so sure it is worth it to wait. Especially when you can get these T3/T04E's for about half.

My turbo is maxxed. I hit 71% airflow over the course of 3psi. On a real cold night, I hit 77%, but I've ran between 20-25psi, and it all hits 71-73% top end.. Its maxxed at this power level.

50trim BTW..

And exhaust flow is NOT secondary to compressor flow.. In a truly optimal setup, both are sized accordingly to each other. It is hard to put air in a container that is still full.. Exhaust pressure is just as important as boost pressure... It will create a lot of probems..

For the 50trim T04E, the .63ar allows enough flow. It will net 1psi by 2400rpm, 12psi by 3400rpm and 24psi by 3800rpm in 5th gear.

Spool is ~1 second or so.

BTW, please take that movie out of your signature... Friday is funny as ****, but it lags the **** out of my page playing it over and over again... I'd be pissed if I had dial up....

Cool. Thanks for the practical first-hand experience. If the AMS GT32 is not in stock by the time I need it (still building my motor now) I think I'll go with a setup like yours. In your other post I believe you said t3/t04e .63 a/r housing stage 3 wheel, 50 trim compressor.

Thanks for a great discussion guys.

Not to thread jack or anything, but KATWO40SX - could you give some idea as to where someone could locate a t3/t04e in that price range that isn't used? thanks for your time
