Reconsidering my power goals, I may just get a rebuild and some mods to my T25G and stick under the 240rwhp mark. Would 460cc's be good for about 14psi on a T25G, or would that be overkill? Reason I ask is I have the injectors and am wondering what to do with them (keep or sell)

Definitely use the 450's as long as you can manage them. Less of a chance of injector failure due to high duty cycles.

My vote = yank the fuel injection and stick a 600cfm double pumper on there. Thats a carburator for all you youngens.

*edit* Alright alright, I better tell you I'm kidding cuz someone might actually take me serious.

My advise (which I learned from float) Long story short, It's better to have too big of injectors than too small. You might not be able to utilize all of their potential, but they wont be too big as to mess up your idle or anything.

Something that has been covered in the past that needs to be said again. MSD 50 lb/hr injectors are only good for around 350hp to the crank in FWD configuration. RWD will be lower. If you're just planning on upping the boost alittle and for some fun, then your 460s will suffice. But if you plan on putting on a bigger turbo, a T3/T04 will run those 460s out of gas.

Why would fwd cars require lesser injectors than rwd at the crank? Do you mean 350 to the wheels?

There's a reason oem uses 370's for stock boost/turbo. More reliable!

I don't ever want big power out of this motor (I am lazy...if I wanted big power I would have done an RB25 ), so these injectors seem to have been a wise investment. They will go in as soon as:1) I fix my running rich issues2) I buy a soldering irona nd socket my ECU3) I buy and install my Silvia front4) I stop being lazy

450s. 1g's used them too, at least for a while, I'm not sure if they switched from something else mid-generation.

Nope. All 4g63 manual turbos used 440s. 1G turbo autos had 390s. 2G autos still had 440s. NA 4g63 had smaller, 1.8's had even smaller.

I should know, I own a bunch of DSMs

Well I guess lots of people are confused then. On ebay, there are several sets of "dsm 450cc injectors" and I searched for 440's and I found 1 result for dsm injectors. Everywhere on the internet they're referred to as 450's, with the 390's for autos.

I didn't see anything there about dsm injectors.
