460 in s13????

i have a s13 hatch and i also have a ford 460 big block does anyone know if it will fit under the engine bay and what about the ford 3 speed auto transmission will that fit in the canal

I was just about to look up a 302 engine swap... try the search.

a 302 will fit you need to shorten the drive shaft. i dont know about a 460

yeah man i have been doing the search on multiple forums i found 302s 305s even chevy 350s but i got a 460w auto trans given to me sooo hey if it could work then that would rockkk

im thinking about just going with the chevy 350 w a turbo trans w o/d

you have a c6 to go along with that 460, which is a fairly big and heavy transmission

defintely probably take some cutting to get it to fit.......

you have the car, you have the engine, go measure it and see

if it helps at all... I do believe at one time someone did swap a 460 into a 240sx.... but I don't know what forum they were on if any. but it has been done

yeah well i did mesure actually i did that first hummmmmm

so now i was asking if anyone has seen it done i have checked all over this forum and club240 and not a single post

i just might scrap that idea and put a chevy 350 w turbo 350 trans in i can get the mounts and brackets from the redneck shop up the road

LS1 is a tried-and-true swap. Might want to look into that if you really want bowtie-power.

yeahhhh a FREEEEEEE 460 maybe people missed that part if i wanted to spend 10k on an ls1 swap then that would happen soooo yeahhh im gonna budget build a 350
