Well its official, i signed up for d1gp miami.
If you know anything about D1gp theres pre qualify then proqualifing before you even get to the actual event.
No i dont think I will even make it past prequalifing, Im not that good and im not trying to wreck the car either so i wont be going completly balls out.
Needless to say I double booked for the car show. LOL stay tuned.

Any advice given would be appreciated. My only concern is tech, i was told i dont need a drivers suit for the prequalify, or a battery switch , but sounnds kind of fishy to me .

Yea im on sfldrifters.
The pro guys on there are telling me you dont need it for the prequal, but i dont know. I have a 6 point but not a full cage.

Car is finally ready for the event its tommorow morning so well see how far i get lol, my qualifing will be shorter than the time it takes me to load and unload the trailer. Hopefully ill stay away from the walls!!!!

i dont have any vids but there where a ton of people shooting video, including an option film crew so maybe my car will end up in an option video.
Anyway still going thru the pictures
heres a good story
On friday after i finished the practice session in the morning i parked the car in the pits and went to take pictures. After i while i turned to say something to my wife and realized that someone had opened my hood and there where three people under the hood like all up in it lol. So i walked over there and was like "excuse me can i help you?" and they where 3 japanese guys who hardly spoke a word of english , i recognized two of them as mechanics from the pits but the third guy i didnt recognize which was the one i basiclly talked to in single words lol. Anyway they apologized for opening the hood and asked me to start it they reved it up a few times totally jocking the ride, any way they where like cool and whatever and thanked me for showing them etc and that was it.
I just realized the third guy i didnt recognize was Daigo Saito.
Daigo Saitowon first two rounds of d1gp usaand 2008 d1gp japan champion.
I feel stupid i didnt even know who he was, he was in street clothes lol

Wow, congrats!
I was browsing some pictures of the event and did see one picture of someone looking under your hood. It was taken from behind and you can't see who it is though.

Im doing a track day on homestead speedway next saturday and i ordered a video camera for incar video it should be here this week so ill have some good video hopefully

Jerry I must say the car is pretty bad in person. My girlfriend is the one with the 240, but now after seeing yours I might have to get my own. It was nice meeting you and talking about the car as well, hopefully we can get her car swapped and driving soon.
