I had to wait about a month for my coilovers as well.
Yeah, I'm working my way inside out since I don't have the money available to do the engine, exhaust, and paint the way I want to do yet. I like to do things the right way the first time. Plus this is the first time I have done any of this, so its ojt for me (on the job training). Coils should be here someone with in the next week or so....I hope.

Thanks for the props! I have to admit I did not invent the Fogs in the vent idea, thats just the great wide world of nico and the great intuitive members and their generosity of knowledge. I mastered the art of "Searching"! Props to Florida240sx, and user name!. I actually did USER NAME! DIY thread

ok so i had a hell of a deal with "Intense Motor Sports" long story short I waited 5 months and no coils or response and took weeks just to get my money back. Needless to say I would never nor would I EVER recommend to do business with them. So after that I got these wheels a while back and decided to put them on and do the 5 lug conversion.

starting point of your conversion: Stock wheels off.

Image

Center cap I did not know how to remove and searched but someone here in the tech section said to use a screw driver and hammer for removal and it should pop right off. Ugghh no that easy so I had to hammer wholes with the screw driver on top, bottom left and right and hammered on a angle with the tip of the screw driver on the holes I made until it did.

and our destination starting point:
Image

Remove the nut(32mm socket) in the center and remove the hub it comes right off.

So I put on the Ichiba hubs and it goes on perfect. Then the rotors were banging against the brake dust shield. I searched how to remove and no info available. so here goes, basically put a flat head screw driver in the center round piece where my screw driver is and pull out ward until it pops out. I saw people cut them and I almost did the same but this pops off with a little elbow grease.

Put the hub on:

Put on the drill slotted rotors with BMW adapter/spacer:

I put one wheel on just to see how it fit. The stock spring is touching and its sticking out more than I thought. looks good but when I tried turning it was hitting the bumper an made a small crack but I was barely turning. ANY suggestions, ideas or help?!? First s13 with these on. Does the s14 have a bigger wheel well than the s13?
I've only seen these on a s14 and 350z

I think you should get some smaller wheels. Get 17x9s all the way around... cause 17s look good when your lowered, espessially when they are flush with your car. 19s are too big, and it looks like your going for the big wheel look. I would sell those and get smaller wheels. You can put those on ebay and make at lease $400-500. Anyway i love your custome interior work, and i may do it myself. Just get the fabric and that adhesive spray, and apply them over top of your old fabric that was on headliner, glove box, and door panels?? Nice build thread so far, cant wait to see more!!

How are the Ichiba 5 lug hubs? I've heard the bearings don't last too long.
Damn, those wheels are huge. I believe the s13s do have bigger wells.
Looking good though, kudos :)

Thanks! Correct on the interior except that I pulled the headliner original material off. You could put it over the original material if you choose.
