411 SSS radiator

The quirky and versatile Datsun 410 and 411 series sedans and wagons laid the groundwork for the 510.

Hey guys so I have a donor 411 and thought for sure i could put its radiator in my SSS. Think again lol. The one from J series motor is too small. Like it should've worked but the rad support on a 67 vs a 65 is apparently bigger like wider. What are other SSS owners doing for radiators?

It's not a SSS / J13 incompatibility. It's a 65 vs 67 issue.

I use an aftermarket aluminum radiator from Champion in mine. You should read the article I linked you to... lots of answers in there. ;)

You'll have to measure for yourself on the radiator.

If you have the original "shot" RL411 radiator, salvage the upper and lower tanks and re-core it.
