400Z ????

Hey i heard something about Nissan going retro with the future release of a 400Z . It is supposed to look very similar to the 300zx any of u guys heard of this? Its also supposed to have about 400hp and become a rival to the C6 vette. Is this just a rumor or is it true?

kinda disappointed thought it would have a similar front end to the Z32.

I've heard something mentioned about the next Z car being a 450Z maybe.

If the GT-R gets a V8 I could see the Z possibly getting one but if they stick with the V6 for the GT-R, I don't believe the Z would go with anything more than the same but detuned.

I'm glad at least they're working on getting it lighter. The Z's have been pigs since the end of the Datsun Z's.

Yeah there is two 350z photos in there, a g35 rear end, some mazda prototype in blue. I think the only legit photo is that silver concept.

The new Z is going to be a V6. The new GTR will have a 3.7L TT V6, Nissan isn't dumb enough to stick a larger motor in a cheaper car slotted below the GTR.

Someone's drawing or guesses online or in a magazine isn't any better than something you or I dream up after a dozen beers. Speculation won't help us figure it out.
