im in the market for a 240. i am just waiting for one to show up with in 100 miles of me. i want to use the greddy kit and intercooler but that only gets me about halfway. the kit comes with 370cc injectors and a piggy back computer. i plan on adding a BOV, boost controler, fuel pressure regulator and a new clutch. one of my questions is how much HP can the stock internals handle and will i have to lower my compression to stay with 92 octane. how big of a injector will i need? will i have to add a metal head gasket? how big of a fuel pump will i have to add? should i get a stand alone computer or just reprogram the piggy back? am i forgeting any thing that will also be necessary?

stock internals with a good tune can do 350hp safetly, after that you may want to upgrade the pistons, and shotpeen the rods so you can do ~450hp. a 255lph walbro pump should be enough for 400(am not 100% sure on this, somebody correct if wrong) you might want to use something like the aem ems, or a tuned ecu(ethalpy or JWT make those).

First of all what does your budget look like? Because you cann get way over your head way fast. So plan everything out before you buy anything even the car! For 400hp i think I may be wrong but 550cc injectors will get you there. As far as fuel managment I would go with AEM EMS. You know what check out phatka-t.com their turbo kits should be plenty for anything that you are going to need...oh and welcome to NICO

400 you will need to get 720cc injectors as 400 will be on the ragged edge of what a 550cc can put out. Not something you want to do often.

So having to run 720cc leaves you with two options. Standalone vs. JWT/Enthalpy. All depends on your tuning knowledge or how much your willing to pay someone.

You will also need at least a T3/T04E 50 trim to get you above that magical number.

I prefer to purchase my parts seperately so I can spec them as I want them vs. a kit where you get what they give you.
