So in 2005 I had almost finished my s14.5 build, awesome car, and then I unfortunately fell on hard times and was forced to sell :) then when I got back in my feet I had twin baby's in the way, yesterday was their 5th bday so I sold my last two project builds I had made rather inexpensively and turns so great profits.

So I bought a really reliable and boring daily driver "scion xb" and I was hunting for a s13coupe when I saw the saddest s14 zenki in Oregon pop on craigslist for a g.

Talk to the guy and we worked out a straight trade for my running and driving 1972 Datsun 521 pickup I had recently purchased for 400$.

I will be going to get her tomorrow, very excited, it's a complete shell, all it needs is a motor and transmission so I'm hoping to find a running and shifting kade swap for as cheap as possible.

This is the only pic I could dl at the moment.

I wonder if it's the first 400$ s14, deffinatly the cheapest s14 shell I have come across:)

I'm told it has a brand new dash, all electrical is complete, has exhaust and ecu...

To be continued tomorrow...

I will have an S14 KA24DE/5 spd/ecu/harness for sale in about a month or so. I'm in Oregon as well. It's currently in my daily, but pulling it to put my built SR in. Just something to keep in mind if you aren't in a hurry. I also have factory Zenkei tailights too (looks like yours are missing).

Not a bad starting point for a project :D Good luck with it! Where are you located?

Strut assemblies were taking apart on both sides of the front of the car so I wasn't able to get it onto the dolly today the guy said that he is going to get that put back together and hopefully will be able to pick it up tomorrow.

Probably due to lack of posts or something, ha ha. Sounds good though, I will keep you posted when I start to pull it. I don't have any trailers unfortunately, u-hall does dollies for $45 or something like that. That's what I typically do. I have to borrow a tow capable truck though, ha ha.

That's a bummer! Depending on how bad, they may be savable to keep costs down. Definitely post up some pictures of the project!

the dam trailor i had reserved for yesterday was rented and never returned... getting frustrated.

yeah i kind of want to do the overfenders anyways so im thinking ill just arch them once i get to that point, right now the priority is getting the dam car to my garage...

ok, the car is now in my garage, tear down will begin sunday, brand new dash, i also have some extra s14 doors if anyone needs them.

new control arms upper and lower, tension rods, balljoints, strut bars front and back, tie rods, and some other parts for the rb20 in route.

i have a friend offering a plug and play fj20det he wants to trade for my rb,
I've heard good and bad things about them, honestly its the only datsun/nissan motor that i have no experience with, so what do you guys think about that trade offer?

many pics will be posted sunday, first is suspension, going with my favorite brand coilover... megan pro street

Pics or it didn't happen....lol.

Not too bad of a start because I have seen worse.

As far as the engine goes, I'll stay with the RB, BUT I am RB biased.
They are widely known so getting parts might be easier to obtain over the FJ.

Either way, keep us posted pimp.
