Oh WOW.That car is simply beautiful.

You KNOW that auction will hit insane levels during the last bit. That 777 is just there to make people like us feel like it's worth bidding.

It'll probably go for over $20k.

Read the questions, there are some pretty good ones -

It's a Chev with polyester tires on it. Gee! at that price? What is your return on your investment? zero! It was $3,500 new!! I could get a use F-16 for less!!

Then the next guy...

Jim, Please excuse the person offering 50K, He thought he was in the die cast section. And as far the guy who rather have an F-16 the g-force of cracking the throttle in a F-16 or a ZL-1 would be about the same. The Difference being a person could actually drive the Zl-1 where as Homeland Security might have issues with the F-16. To these guys I'll let you and the others with negative comments in on a well kept secret:.....your right!!!! the Zl-1 offered here isn't worth 777K ... But Jim has to sell it for this price to keep people like you from loading up your brother-in-law "Bubba", a 12 pack of pabst and destroying one of the last PERFECT PIECES OF AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You keep collecting happy meal toys, and Jim will keep perserving history. Anyway Jim, Thanks for a look at a truly amazing car!

probably an input error, but a nice car nonetheless, despite the drab color.

No, it's actually most likely not. That is an extremely rare car, in extremely good shape. Very limited production and very capable car. It's another one of those museum potential cars, like the million dollar Chevelle.

If the price is correct, I guess PT Barnum was right.

too bad it was restored...I'd have to leave it completely original.
