Will it be suitable to fit in a 4-wire o2 sensor like Bosch 15730?

I use a 4 wire with my Autronic SMC ECU on my CA18. I use a GM AC/Delco part.
Basically instead of having 2 wires for heater, and a signal wire (3 wires), there is an additional ground wire for the signal.

I haven't tried this, but I believe it would work fine, just the connector differs??
The catch for new players..is that o2 sensors use stainless steel wire, which can't be soldered, must be silver soldered or crimped with proper crimping tools onto new connectors.

Fitting a wideband is definitely not compatible.

Thanks. I'll try connecting the gray wire O2 ground to the ECU ground then.

I got the old O2 sensor out. The wirings seems checked out fine according to the FSM.

One question though... will the o2 sensor get warm/hot if the key is in the ON position??

Yes, it should get quite warm. Almost too hot to hold.

Really? Mine didnt get warm anyhow although I've checked the wiring according to the FSM. Any further tips?

Ok updates, I unplugged the o2 sensor and the afm cables, put the ecu into Mode 3 diagnostics and....gave me a 55 code...Does that mean my ecu is fried or thats normal??
